Create Templates or recipes to be used in new Production Orders
- Add New Production Template Manually:
- create your manufactured item in Inventory, making sure it is identified as a Manufactured Inventory Type:

- establish components in one of two ways:

New
- click

- Template No is displayed, the sequence for which is established in Company Settings > Sequence Numbers > Production Orders tab
- Priority selection - for filtering, sorting and reporting purposes (this can be changed when creating a live Production Order)

- option to enter a Ref No of your choice and significance
- option to enter or
browse for a related Customer if this is a Customer-specific Production Template
- option to make this the
Default Template for the selected Inventory Manufactured Item (ie: PPBARCPC48PK), whereby you can use the same Manufactured Inventory Item, but with multiple ‘recipes’
- enter or
browse for the Manufactured Inventory item you created earlier, to insert into the top line
- accept or change components list as established in Inventory > Bill of Materials tab (see Inventory - Bill of Materials)

- Add New Production Template by Copying From an Existing Template

- select the Template in the Production Templates tab
- click on
Copy
- make desired changes to the newly created Template
Edit a Production Template in one of 3 ways:
- From inside an existing Template
- Production List > Templates tab
- select the desired Template
- click on
Edit
- or double-click to open
- or right-click and select
Edit
- make desired changes as explained in sections above
- option to
Update Orders with any changes just made
- From inside the Inventory Item > Bill of Materials tab
- From inside an existing Production Order
Push To Template to update the Template with changes have been made to components details from within the Production Order
- option to
Update Orders (Sale Orders) currently in the system, with any changes just made
