SALES HISTORY

Learn where you can access Sales History and learn what you can do in each of these locations

View Sales History information for posted Sales Orders in one of 6 places:

 

  1.   Sales History Module from the module list:

SalesHistoryModuleList-1
    • Invoices tab functionality: 
      • Refresh to load any invoices that may have been posted since last refresh and that may not be displaying on this list
      •   Sales History Filters / Search / Customization - see Sales List
      • Export Sales History details in Excel or CSV format - see SALES ORDERS - Export
      • View Invoice(s) selected from the filtered or unfiltered list (see Filters) with these options:
        • Edit Edit the following Header fields (User Settings permitting)
          • PO No / Reference No / Salesperson / Territory / Ship Via / Bill To Address or Contact information / Ship To Address or Contact information  / Carrier Info / User Defined Fields / Equipment No / Service Info Reading type / Job Account
        • PrintIcon Print / Preview / Email the Invoice
        • CustomerIcon  Open Customer to view / edit 
        • ShowTaxBreakdowns Show Tax Breakdown (USA)
        • GLTransactionIcon View Transaction
        • Copy Copy the Invoice into a new Sales Order
        • ReverseIcon-1 Reverse the Invoice as a reversing Sales Order
        • SalesOrderEDIIcon EDI Invoice to send the selected Invoice(s) to file if you have your Electronic Data Interchange Integration set up
        • CommunicationsIcon access to Communication tab allows user to Add or Edit Communication entries
        • grid options:SalesHistoryItemsGrid
          • OpenInventoryIcon Open Inventory to view / edit the line item selected
          • SalesOrderMainTabToggleKitComponentsIcon Toggle Kit Components - view components of the Kit item selected (see Inventory Kits)
          • UDFIcon Show UDF - view the User Defined Fields data and structure for the Sales History line selected (see User Defined Fields)
            • data in these fields can also be made visible in the items grid by right-clicking on any of the column headings for the list of available columns and putting a checkmark beside the UDF:

                         SalesHistoryReportsList
      • GLTransactionIcon View Transaction to see how this transaction effected the General Ledger
      • SalesOrderEDIIcon EDI Invoice to send the selected Invoice(s) to file if you have your Electronic Data Interchange Integration set up
        • SalesOrderEMailIcon Email the Customer(s) on the selected Invoices (see CUSTOMERS - email)
        • Sales History list Context Menu - right-click on any line(s) to launch:
                              SalesHistoryQuickMenu-1 
        • Items tab has similar functionality as the Invoices tab, with these exceptions:
                              SalesHistoryItemsReportsList
          • Sales History Items Context Menu - right-click on any line(s) to launch:SalesHistoryItemsQuickMenu 
        • reports1 Reports tab allows printing of reports with pre-set parameter options:SalesHistoryModuleReportsTab
          • select the Sales History Report Template for summary reports: SalesHistoryReportsTabSalesHistory-1
          • select the Customer Sales History Report Template for detail reports:
            SalesHistoryReportsTabCustomerSalesHistory-2  


       2.  Sales History Module from the Sales text menu:

              SalesTextMenuSalesHistory

       

        3.  Sales Order > Sales History tab that displays posted invoices (for more information see Invoicing and Batch Invoicing) for all items for the Customer on the current Sales Order, which offers two subtab views:

      • Items tab for detailed view and the same functionality as the Sales History module with the following additional functions:

      SalesOrderSalesHistoryTabItems

          • Order Items Only will narrow the list to show only items that are on the Order currently open
          • Add To Order - will add selected item(s) to the current Sales Order 
        • Invoices tab gives you a summary list, with functionality explained above: SalesOrderSalesHistoryTabInvoices

           

           4.  Purchase Order > Sales History tab (specific to items on the PO):

            5.  Customer details > Sales tab > Invoices / Invoice Items sub-tabs (see Sales History Invoices and Sales History Items for functionality):CustomerSalesTabInvoicesItems
